The search covers the Application Selector and all levels of navigation.
Results are displayed from top to bottom according to their hierarchy in the navigation.
For any of the 3 sections, if more than 12 results are found, the section will have a scroll.

Best practices
Use:
VerinTop in every Verint application.
The same type and menu items for all products within a suite.
Short labels for menu items, allowing room for translation.
...
Unless otherwise specified, see our general compliance information in Fundamentals - Accessibility.
Responsive Design
Verint products should dynamically respond to the user’s screen size, platform, and orientation, supporting all devices down to the common tablet size (960px width).
For more information, including recommended breakpoints, see the general Responsive Design guidelines.
Responsive guidelines
The VerinTop should respond based on the number and length of menu items, in both top and second level navigation.
Wide screens
...
Where the screen size is wide enough to comfortably show everything contained within the VerinTop:
All content should be shown on one line, without wrapping. This includes:
top-level menu items.
the application selector. This area may be expanded if the application name is long, and normally wraps onto 2 lines.
Elements aligned to the right hand side will remain there.
Narrow screens
Current selection | Hover |
Where the screen size does not allow all menu items to be shown:
They should be replaced by a 3 dot ⋮ icon button.
When the icon button is clicked, a drop-down menu will open.
Top level menu items will be shown on the left.
On hover over a top level menu item, the related second level menu items will be shown on the right.
When a second level menu item is selected, the menu will close and the new page will be shown.
The current selection should be shown with a blue underline at both levels.
When the menu is first opened, the currently-selected top level and second level menu items should be shown by default.
A hover state should be shown for all menu items.
Where possible, the name of the page currently in view will be shown next to the hamburger menu button when the menu is closed. This should include both top and second levels.
Mobile
Applications | Top level navigation | Second level navigation |
Where there is not enough space to show the product area, application selector, menu button, and user profile (such as on mobile devices):
The options within the Application Selector should move into the menu drop-down, as an additional level before the normal top level navigation.
The drop-down menu will then contain the following levels:
Applications.
Top level navigation.
Second level navigation.
Each level of the drop-down will:
take up the whole screen when in view.
have a header at the top to say which level is currently in view.
have a back icon button and the name of the previous level next to the header, allowing the user to return to the previous level. (Not applicable to the first level).
have Next > arrows next to each option in the first two levels, to show that it will lead to further options.
The width of the Product area (with the Verint logo and suite name) can be reduced, where necessary.
When a final level navigation item is selected, the menu will close and the new page will be shown.
