Description
The Microsoft Teams IM API Usage report shows the metered Microsoft Teams chat and channel export API usage, grouped by date.
Each row shows the usage breakdown of the API for a user in a tenant, and the Teams application and server on which the usage occurred. The usage is shown as the number of messages sent and the number of messages that incurred a charge, summarized for comparison.
The report summarizes the number of actual and metered messages sent by all users of a tenant for each date.
Filter options
Filter name | Description |
|---|---|
User | Only the instant message counts of the selected user(s) are displayed. |
Location | Only the instant message counts of the selected user location(s) are displayed. |
Tenant | Only the instant message counts of the selected tenant(s) are displayed. This filter is only available for users in the reference tenant. These users can query the instant message API usage of any of the tenants, or query the usage of all tenants if the filter is left empty. |
